Like a talent show on steroids, LH’s annual Senior Night Live takes the LHHS auditorium stage this Friday and Saturday at 7 pm. Director and AP English teacher David Wood promises that audience, cast and crew will have a great time. He’ll be assisted by LH teacher and college roommate Keith Lewis, who has 40 years experience in theater and will serve as Technical Director.

Senior Night Live is fashioned after Saturday Night Live and will highlight seniors dancing, singing, playing music and generally having fun. Featured performers include drummer Jordan Brooks, dancer Jennifer Klopfenstein, singer Katie York, and garage bands galore. Espree does a great rendition of the Beatles’ “Blackbird,” the Bell Boys will give their version of Weekend Update, and the Dettes, cheerleaders, Wranglers and choir will all perform. Bob Heger will lead Senior Dads in a dance (yes, dads dancing), and Julie Brooks has got the moms shakin’ their groove thing in the opening number.
