Randy Tipton with Boren Swindell & Associates in Fort Worth, which also apparently is connected with American Bankruptcy Center, is the bankruptcy attorney for Steve and Marukh Hall, according to a voice mail we received from Steve Hall Thursday. The phone number for Tipton is 817-429-4118, and if you’re a creditor (meaning you think the Halls or Red Cat owe you money), you’re directed to select Option 3, which is a recorded message asking you to send proof of your claim in writing to the attorney.
I’ve left a couple of messages directly with Tipton asking for the bankruptcy case numbers and where the missing consigned goods are but haven’t received a call-back yet. And another search of North Texas district bankruptcy filings this morning didn’t turn up anything on either Steve or Marukh Hall or Red Cat Consignment. We’ll keep trying to obtain more information and let you know as we find out.
