Whaddaya know, the LH girls are 2-0.
That’s 2-0 in District 9-5A play. The girls basketball team, after a rocky pre-district schedule, beat Molina, 58-10 on Tuesday night in the LH gym. Sam Couch and Tierra Scott led the way with 10 points each and Harlie Greer added 8.
The boys basketball was also victorious, beating Newman Smith, 74-70, in Carrollton. Four players scored in double figures – Trey Bingham, Aaron Mazibuko, Tevin Elmore and Ricky Zorn – plus Demarcus Bernard scored 9 and Sean McCary had 8.
And the LH wrestling team took care of business Tuesday night in a dual against Grapevine. We’ll post the report from correspondent Ann Villasana as soon as it arrives.
