Shea Boothe’s online skincare and cosmetics retail business, TrueBeautyRX, grew quickly and took over her Lake Highlands home. So she’s moving the operation to a Lakewood office space. Boothe expects to open the office/retail space she leased near La Vista Drive and Swiss Avenue next month. "It’s going to be a little jewel box when it’s finished," she says of the space, which most recently was a real estate office, but started out as a fast-food restaurant.
Boothe, who has been in the skincare business for 20 years, launched TrueBeautyRX in January, and she has two employees. The Web site sells high-end products that consumers normally find through dermatolagists or plastic surgeons, Boothe says. The office on La Vista will include a "beauty bar" where people can shop for some of the 500 products the company sells.
