Apparently coming within one score of tying Skyline in the fourth quarter last Friday impressed the area pollsters. Lake Highlands didn’t drop in either The Dallas Morning News or TheOldCoach.com area rankings despite the 42-27 loss to the Raiders (it was 35-27 with 2:45 left).

If anything, the game benefitted Skyline, which moved up to No. 1 in TheOldCoach.com state rankings.  Skyline was already No. 1 in TOC’s area rankings.
