From noon to 5 p.m tomorrow (Saturday, Sept. 12), we can check out more than 20 neighborhood restaurants — all in one location. The Greater East Dallas Chamber’s Taste of Greater East Dallas is a fund-raiser that features sampling from all of the restaurants at the Dallas Children’s Theater, on the northeast corner of Skillman and Northwest Highway. Cost is $10 for adults and free for children under 8. Refreshments will be available for an extra charge.
Among the restaurants participating are Angelo’s, Black-Eyed Pea and Dixie House, Bonnie Ruth’s Cafe & Catering, Cantina Laredo, Captain D’s Seafood, Desperado’s, Fish City, Highland Park Cafeteria, Mariano’s Hacienda, Matt’s Rancho Martinez, Quesa-D-Ya’s, Randy White’s BBQ, Sam’s Club Park Lane, Terilli’s Restaurant, TopGolf Dallas, Trader Vic’s, Vietnam Restaurant, Watel’s Restaurant and Zoe’s Greed Mediterranean.
