The Lake Highlands volleyball team is back from its road trip tournament to Pearland, but there’s no rest for the weary. LH hosts McKinney Boyd and Rowlett on Tuesday in matches scheduled for 4:30, 6:00 and 7:30 p.m.
On Friday, the JV and varsity travel to Flower Mound Marcus for matches at 6 and 7 p.m.
In the massive Pearland tournament, LH advanced to the Consolation Gold A finals before losing to Friendswood, 24-26, 25-17, 25-15. Matalee Reed was named to the all-tournament team.
According to stats supplied by the team, for the weekend Caroline Henton led the team in kills with 53 and Reed was next with 52. Christina Flanagan led in digs with 57 and Rachel Peters led in assists with 59. Reed had the most aces with nine and Rachael Zreet was next with eight.
