Dallas Police will host a cookout and fundraiser to help with medical bills and related expenses for Officer Alex Garcia of the Northeast Division, who fell severely ill during a police event in Colorado. The cookout lasts most of the day tomorrow, Thursday, August 27, and will be held at the Northeast Patrol Division, 9915 Northwest Highway, from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. (Just look for the smoke and follow your nose).
