Twenty lucky bidders in the Wildcat Club online auction won a chance to attend Beth Hanks’ Cow Bell Happy Hour, held last night. Beth gave us all a lesson in “how to make some noise for our boys,” with special tips on how to decorate your cow bell, when NOT to ring it (when center Scott Hanks is snapping the ball to quarterback Ricky Zorn and listening for his count), when ringing it makes people mad (at volleyball games inside a closed-in gym), and when best to ring it (after a great Wildcat defensive play or big first down).

Head coach Scott Smith provided scouting films of last year’s LHHS vs. Skyline game for us to study and practice, which got us all revved up and in the mood. As you’ve heard from our own Keith Whitmire on the sports blog, that’ll be the game to see this season since Skyline is ranked third in the area with several players committed to play in college.

Beth provided all the snacks and beverages on her own nickel, so this fun event brought in funds to support all sports at LHHS, LHFC, FMJH, and LHJH. Go Cats!
