At the volleyball match last night, I noticed LH wrestler/pole vaulter/decathlete Isaac Grieder limping around with an ankle wrapped in an ace bandage.
Surely this happened on the wrestling mat, or in some pole vaulting incident? Nope.
"I was goofing around at the lake," Grieder said.
The injury isn’t serious, Grieder said. It will take more than that to slow down this daredevil.
By the way, it was great to see Grieder and some of the other LH athletes in the stands supporting the volleyball team. The Bell Boys were there, too. In fact, the Bell Boys and a few others made it to last week’s opener at Highland Park.
