Nothing official because there is apparently no police report filed at this point — but I was leaving the Kroger on Northwest at Plano in Lake Highlands at about 6 p.m. when three police cars, at least one with a siren blaring, sped into the parking lot. They stopped out front and the cops ran inside. Being the intrepid reporter that I am, I went back inside where I heard one of the Kroger employees on the phone saying "we just got robbed … yeah, man, our bank just got robbed."

Looking back, the weirdest part was a sort-of tone amongst us shoppers of "hmmm/ another bank robbery/ nothin’ new here really" one lady said simply "times are tough." I’ll let you know if I learn anything else.
