We were driving from church to J.G.’s Hamburgers Sunday around noon, and our route took us past the developing WalMart SuperCenter at Forest and Meadowknoll. It has been awhile since I’ve been by there during daylight, and you can see what I saw: The building is taking shape, and the sort-of fake small-town look is what it is.
Now, clearly this building isn’t going to be winning any architectural trailblazer awards, but on the other hand, I suppose a fake small-town is better than just chucking the concept altogether and building a tin-sided regular WalMart. Right?
