At 35 years old,
Dutch
Art
Gallery
is one of the longest-running businesses in our neighborhood. And its location in
Northlake
Shopping Center
is like a little sanctuary within the city. With three or four corridors hung with oil paintings both big and small, you can roam through and lose yourself in the depicted scenes. The gallery carries the work of G. Harvey, whose piece “City Crowds,” $295, is shown here, as well as works by Thomas Kinkade, Dalhart Windberg and many other painters. There is also a custom-frame shop, as well as a large back room with ready-made frames of every conceivable size. A small selection of sculpture and three-dimensional art is also available, including the two dogs shown below, for $65 each.
