The Lake Highlands Military Moms Saturday converged with volunteers at the Knights of Columbus to pack presents for Lake Highlands men and women serving in Afghanistan and Iraq.
Kids joined in and wrote notes of thanks to the soldiers. In all, 118 care packages containing snacks, toiletries, books, games and more — donated by Exchange Club members and Lake Highlands residents — have been shipped.
