The Lady Cats are 2-1 in district play as they prepare to face the Lady Eagles tonight at The Boneyard.
The girls lost to Skyline last week in a heartbreaker – they were forced to go to a shootout to solve a scoreless tie in regulation play. The Wildcats bounced back with a big win against Sunset last Friday.
Spectators got their money’s worth in Tuesday night’s match against district-rival Berkner, with more than 30 shots on goal by the Cats – including several by the defensive line. Sophomore Brinkley Field secured the win by putting in a cross from junior Avery Voigt. Stellar play continues by seniors Carmen Burroughs, Nena Rubin, Gina & Erin Gossett, along with junior Avery Voigt and sophomore Glory Williams. Go Cats!
