Richardson ISD girls basketball playoff games that were scheduled for today will be rescheduled due to inclement weather conditions.
The district closed Thursday out of an abundance of caution for the safety of students, staff and families. All virtual and face-to-face learning classes were canceled for the day.
Three RISD girls basketball games are now scheduled to take place Friday, Feb. 12, according to an RISD Facebook post. The Lake Highlands High School vs. South Grand Prairie at Grand Prairie High School game will now take place tomorrow at 6 p.m.
Tickets that have been purchased will be honored for the rescheduled matches.
