Octopus taco at Resident Taqueria
You don’t have to travel to Oaxaca or Veracruz to find authentic gourmet Mexican food. Resident Taqueria creates some of Dallas’ most delicious and innovative dishes. They’re hosting Spirit Night for Lake Highlands Elementary Wednesday.
Owner/chef Andrew Savoie, who lives in Lake Highlands with his young family, is constantly busting open the envelope with new creations. Tonight, you can try a pecan-smoked chicken taco and one with braised beef short ribs. Tomorrow, you can order caramelized cauliflower or glazed pork belly. The menu constantly changes, and most tacos are under $5. Grab-and-go breakfast tacos are available in the mornings.
You can view the full menu here.
When you dine inside, eat on the patio, or carry out Oct. 21 from 7-9 p.m., Resident Taqueria will kick back a percentage to the school’s PTA. Be sure to mention LHE.
