After hosting a fundraiser for Lake Highlands Elementary the first week of school, Andy’s will kick back a percentage of sales to the Lake Highlands High School mock trial team from 3-7 p.m. this Wednesday. Proceeds will help the team travel to November’s invitation-only Empire Mock Trial Competition in San Francisco – particularly members from low income families who’d be unable to participate without help from the community. The team did well at the contest last year, then used that experience to win at Dallas’ district level and at regional semifinals. This year’s goal is to place in the state’s top four.

You’ll aid the Wildcat team whether you order Andy’s Rico Suave Jackhammer with roasted pecans, Oreos and hot fudge, or their Old-Fashioned Cherry Soda, with frozen custard, selzer and cherry syrup.

You can view the full Andy’s menu here. You may donate directly to the LHHS mock trial team here.

Andy’s is at 9655 Audelia.
