The Lupners will play an outdoor free concert at Sundays in the Park this weekend

The Lupners will be featured at this weekend’s Arboretum-style Sundays in the Park, with grab-and-go tacos from Fish City Grill or Taco Diner or to-go options from Jersey Mike’s, Yogurtland and Sprouts. There will also be bounce houses and slides for the kids, and, of course, a chance to socialize with old friends or make new ones.

The concert is free and runs from 5-7 p.m. June 3rd at the Lake Highlands Town Center Amphitheater. Pack your low-rise folding chairs or blankets for seating, and bring a sack of canned goods while you’re at it. Sundays in the Park coordinators at the LH Public Improvement District are collecting for Feed Lake Highlands in hopes of stocking the pantries of needy families in our neighborhood now that children will be home for the summer.

Oh, and if you want a preview of the Lupners’ show, they’ll bring their classic rock ‘n roll to Lone Star Roadhouse Saturday night from 8:15 to 12:30. Lone Star Roadhouse is at 11277 E. Northwest Highway at Jupiter.
