A 50-year-old man shot his relative in the face before he crashed his car fleeing the police.
The Dallas Police Department responded to the shooting May 20 at about 5:20 p.m. in the 6000 block of Melody Lane. When police arrived, they discovered the 50-year-old shot his 30-year-old relative in the face.
The victim was transported to a local hospital. Police reported he was in good condition.
Police briefly chased the suspect, who fled the scene in his vehicle. He crashed his vehicle and then was transported to another nearby hospital to be treated for his injuries.
