Memphis Soul
Memphis Soul is playing at the popular Dallas Arboretum Cool Thursdays concert series June 7, but you don’t have to wait that long. The 8-piece band covering Earth, Wind and Fire, Otis Redding and Aretha Franklin hits will be at Sundays in the Park May 6th from 5-7 p.m., with fiery horns, a solid rhythm section and dynamic male and female vocalists sharing the best R&B classics.
You are welcome to bring your own picnic dinner with you, but Lake Highlands Town Center restaurants like Jersey Mike’s, Fish City Grill, Yogurtland and Sprouts will offer grab-and-go brown bags to eat during the show. Don’t forget your blankets or chairs.
Sundays in the Park are free and held in the outdoor amphitheater at Watercrest Park.
