Wildcat baseball hosts their district opener against Berkner tonight, with Espree’s Taber Roach singing the national anthem to start the game. Roach, just coming off her gig starring as Belle in the LHUMC ACT production of Beauty and the Beast, went to Hamilton Park Pacesetter Magnet with senior team members Jacob Armer, Evan Garcia and Kyle Klemme.

The Cats, meanwhile, are hoping to carry the momentum of a busy weekend of play, with the varsity finishing 3-3 at the Jay Higgins Tournament and the JV losing the championship game of the Mabank Tournament in the final at bat.

Both Picasso’s and Mi Cocina offer percentages of sales to the team on game day when you say “Wildcat Baseball.”
