Fuzzy’s Taco Shop at Royal and Central opened this morning, and the staff had breakfast tacos sizzlin’ long before the sun came up.
“We are super-excited,” said General Manager Michelle Chalita. “The staff is so happy. So many people have been waiting, waiting, waiting. We hired a bunch of new staff and drew some from our other 2 locations in Deep Ellum and Love Field.
“We think we’ll have a very diverse crowd – hospital nurses getting off their shift, a business crowd at lunch, and I’m definitely hoping for a big night crowd. We have a full bar here and a nice patio, so I’m expecting some nice crowds on the weekend to watch college and pro football on the big screen TVs. We’re even talking about doing some Pay-Per-View in the future.”
Fuzzy’s will host an official grand opening with ribbon cutting and hoopla Monday, October 9th, with free t-shirts for the first 100 guests in line and a drawing each day for 30 days, with winners receiving a Fuzzy’s tee, Butt Burner sauce and a $5 gift card. Until then, they’re cooking up great tacos from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at 10910 N. Central Expressway.
