The first, Thursday, Feb. 2, is a public safety discussion co-hosted by the Dallas Police Department’s Northeast Patrol Division and the City Attorney’s Office. They’ll dive into community-driven solutions to crime in and near the Forest Audelia area, including protests of liquor licenses, nuisance abatement lawsuits and the role of the community within those strategies. The event begins at 6 p.m. in the Forest Lane Academy Café, 9663 Forest Lane, with entry through the side doors.

On Tuesday, Feb. 7, the councilman will pair up with Duke Companies to discuss the planned development at Shoreview and Ferndale. Duke will present their plans for the area and community members will have an opportunity to ask questions. Start time is 6 p.m. at Gracehill Community Church, 8535 Ferndale Road.
