Grub Burger Bar
As the Lake Highlands Highlandettes prepare for their Spring Break trip to Italy, they’re offering two ways for you to help with their fundraising efforts.
Dine at Grub Burger Bar Wednesday, September 30th and mention that you are a fan of the Dettes, and Grub will kick back 20% to the drill team. You can have a burger, salad, shake or anything else on their menu all day, and you may carry out or dine in at their 4925 Greenville Avenue restaurant.
The trendy Kendra Scott jewelry store at The Plaza at Preston Center is also supporting the Highlandettes from 5:30-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 5. They’ll share 20% of sales, and they’ll have sips and sweets while you shop. The store is located at 8382 Preston Center Plaza.

Blogger CAROL TOLER and her husband, Toby, are the parents of four LHHS graduates. She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award. She received LHHS PTA's Extended Service Award, FMJH PTA's Charger Award and a Life Membership from the LHFC PTA. She has moderated candidate debates for Dallas Mayor, Dallas City Council and RISD Trustee races and taught seminars on garnering publicity for nonprofits. She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
