Lake Highlands High School won the UIL One-Act Play competition at the Zone level and earned the right to advance to District competition at W.T. White on April 5th. Their performance of Rabbit Hole also garnered numerous individual honors, including Best Actor for Jeff Fowler and Kelsey Buckley, All-Star Cast for Bonnie Johnson, and Honorable Mention for Katie Samuelson and Brandon Williams. Tyler Allen received Honorable Mention for his role providing tech support behind the scenes.

The LH community is invited to see a performance of Rabbit Hole tomorrow/Tuesday at 7pm at the LHHS auditorium. The play is a Pulitzer prize-winning comedy/drama by David Lindsay-Abaire, who wrote the book and lyrics for Shrek the Musical, and portrays a family trying to survive a major loss.

    Blogger CAROL TOLER and her husband, Toby, are the parents of four LHHS graduates. She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award. She received LHHS PTA's Extended Service Award, FMJH PTA's Charger Award and a Life Membership from the LHFC PTA. She has moderated candidate debates for Dallas Mayor, Dallas City Council and RISD Trustee races and taught seminars on garnering publicity for nonprofits. She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
