Lake Highlands seventh grader Morgan Henley is adorable, but don’t let her pretty face fool you – inside she’s a fighter, unwilling to let Cystic Fibrosis get the best of her. While a student at Highlander School, she impressed her classmates with her resilient spirit and positive attitude in the face of big challenges.

This Sunday from 9am to 4pm, they’re aiming to show Morgan support with a blood drive in her honor, and they’re inviting all of LH to join in. To sign up, click this Carter Bloodcare link and enter Dallas 75238. At the bottom, you’ll choose Highlander as your location, 9120 Plano Road, then choose your time and enter your name. Depending on your blood type and Morgan’s needs, she may or may not use the actual blood you give (you may save someone else in the community), but Morgan will receive a financial credit toward future blood products as her needs arise.
