Lake Highlands High School’s annual Red White Game is not just for football diehards — it’s more of a small-town, all-in gathering where the entire community shows up in their Wildcat duds.

Play kicks off at 6 p.m., but you’ll want to be in your seat at The Boneyard well before that. At 5:30, graduating seniors will be introduced wearing t-shirts from their chosen college, and at halftime graduating cheerleaders, Highlandettes, Bell Boys and band members will break away to officially pass the torch to next year’s leaders. The Wildcat Club will sell spirit wear at the Clawset, and the Exchange Club will host a free hot dog picnic on the turf following the game.

Game tickets may be purchased online here, and physical tickets must be presented. Adults get in for $5, and students will pay $2.

LHHS will face new opponents next year since the UIL completed reclassification in February. Here’s the Wildcat 2026 football schedule:

Sept. 4 at 7: Wylie at Wildcat Stadium

Sept. 11 at 7: Mansfield Lake Ridge at Wildcat Stadium for Homecoming

Sept. 25 at 7: Berkner at Wildcat Stadium (home side) for Middle School Night

Oct. 8 at 7: Pearce away

Oct. 16 at 7: Coppell at Wildcat Stadium for Elementary Night

Oct. 23 at 7: Plano away

Oct. 30 at 7: Plano West away

Nov. 6 at 7: Richardson at Wildcat Stadium for Senior Night
