American Express launched Small Business Saturday in 2010 in order to encourage consumers to support small and local businesses. Co-sponsored by the Small Business Administration since the year after its founding, Small Business Saturday generated over $22 million in sales in 2024, according to the SBA.

Craig and Veronica Bradley have organized Small Business Saturday markets in one form or another since the brewery’s COVID-dampened opening in 2020, in addition to regularly hosting vendors at the brewery for major events like Hausfest. This year’s SBS Holiday Market will bring 22 vendors to the Lakeridge Village Green, in addition to other planned attractions. The event is free to attend and runs from noon to 5 p.m.

‘Santa Claus’ will be seen about the brewery and market from noon to 2 p.m. Christmas lists are encouraged. Live music will be provided on the patio from noon to 3 p.m. by local cover band Jetski. In addition, the North Texas Wildlife Center, which seems to have secured its future after facing potential closure, will be onsite with rescue animals. A time has yet to be specified for that portion of the afternoon.

Businesses represented at the market include bakeries, jewelry boutiques and hot sauce bottlers. Local writer and naturalist Amy Martin will have a stand set up to sell copies of her latest book: Wild DFW: Explore the Amazing Nature Around Dallas-Fort Worth.

But, as previously mentioned, there are more than 20 vendors planning to attend the event. Here’s who to expect:
