Kindbody, a fertility and family building clinic with a location inside The Hill, was listed on CNBC’s Disruptor 50 list.
On the business news site’s 11th annual ranking of 50 companies, Kindbody took the 43rd spot for its social purpose and healthcare impact through technology. The clinic was founded by Gina Bartasi in New York in 2018.
The company was described as “family-building femtech” by CNBC. Bartasi was inspired by her own fertility journey to venture into fertility startups, first with FertilityAuthority, then Progeny, before founding Kindbody.
Kindbody has since sprouted from New York with 31 clinics across the country. The goal of the clinics is to provide accessible fertility care to those who can’t afford nor access it.
“We see this pent up demand in historically underserved areas — what we call fertility deserts,” Bartasi told CNBC.
The fertility clinic recently celebrated its Lake Highlands opening in April, which included a meet-and-greet with the Dallas team and swag bags.
Kindbody is located art The Hill at 8041 Walnut Hill Lane, Unit 870.
