Schultz was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma in 2016, and she underwent chemotherapy, dialysis and other treatments for years. After a lengthy search for a live match, she received a new kidney in 2022.

Teachers and administrators in the Lake Highlands Learning Community (LHLC) will wear purple, Shauna’s favorite color, to school Friday in memory of their beloved friend. You’re invited to join in the tribute.
