Lake Highlands School of Music’s Ben’s Rags will play tonight at Waters Edge Winery and Bistro. The show will be the inaugural public performance for the student band, which trains under LHSM owner and Lake Highlands High School graduate Zach Galindo.

Wildcat football player Ben Bonner plays drums for Ben’s Rags, along with Ben Browning, Theo Chrisman lead singer Sloan Johnson. “I’m super excited about tonight,” Bonner says. “I really hope we get some people out to support us. We’re thankful for WEW for having us, and we really just want everyone to come out and have a good time.”

The show runs from 6:30-9:30 p.m. and admission is free.

Waters Edge features a diverse wine and beer selection, plus light bites including cheese boards, flatbreads and tapas. Dinner entrees include asparagus risotto, thick-cut pork chop and grilled tuna. Vanilla bean cheesecake and tiramisu brownie parfait are available for dessert.
