The Exchange Club of Lake Highlands will honor teachers of the year and exceptional students at a breakfast this week.
Awarded at the end of each school year, the Exchange Club Teacher of the Year Awards recognize exceptional teachers in the Lake Highlands Learning Community. The teacher awards were delivered in person with flowers to the teacher’s classrooms by Exchange Club members before being announced on April 25.Â
Last week, the Exchange Club awarded a record $145,000 in scholarships to graduating Lake Highlands High School seniors.
In addition to the seven teachers recognized, four students have also been honored with awards.
