There has been a change in the candidate lineup for Thursday night’s Exchange Club of Lake Highlands forum.
Election Day is May 6.
Cristina Angelina Neria, who is challenging incumbent Trustee Rachel McGowan for the Richardson ISD Place 5 seat, will no longer appear at the forum due to family obligations. In place of the forum, McGowan will be joined by current District 10 Council Member Kathy Stewart to discuss issues facing their constituents in each race.
Stewart is facing off against Sirrano Keith Baldeo and write-in candidate L.D. Pullen.
The event is still scheduled for 7 p.m. on April 24 at the Kaycee Club.
Early voting in both races is currently open through April 29. Election Day is May 3.
