Dallas Police are investigating an apparent murder-suicide after two were killed over the weekend near the intersection of US 75 and I-635.
According to DPD, officers responded to a disturbance in the 13300 block of Emily Road, near the Coit Road I-635 exit, on April 5 at around 6:05 a.m. When they arrived at the scene, police say their initial investigation determined 35-year-old William Calderon had entered the location and shot two individuals before dying of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.
Police say 54-year-old Maria Hernandez died at the scene. Another unnamed victim was transported to a local hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue and is in critical condition, according to police.
