If your company is looking for summer employees, add the Lake Highlands Teen Job Fair to your calendar. The annual outdoor event, sponsored by the Lake Highlands and North Lake Highlands Public Improvement Districts, will focus on job opportunities for young people aged 18 and older.
Teens at the job fair have been urged to be prepared with a resume, and employers are encouraged to offer employment on the spot. Vicky Taylor at the PID can answer questions about securing and setting up your booth: 214-850-4399 or Vicky.taylor@lhpid.org.
The fair runs Saturday, May 3 from 11 to 1 p.m. in the LH North Recreation Center, 9940 White Rock Trail.

Blogger CAROL TOLER and her husband, Toby, are the parents of four LHHS graduates. She has an MBA from SMU and is the proud recipient of the Exchange Club of LH's Unsung Hero Award and Councilman McGough's Blake Anderson Public Service Award. She received LHHS PTA's Extended Service Award, FMJH PTA's Charger Award and a Life Membership from the LHFC PTA. She has moderated candidate debates for Dallas Mayor, Dallas City Council and RISD Trustee races and taught seminars on garnering publicity for nonprofits. She completed training with Dallas Truth, Racial Healing and Transformation and Inside RISD, and she's a sustaining member of LH Women's League.
