Until late March, neighbors can head to the Lake Highlands Alamo Drafthouse Cinema and take advantage of discounted ticket prices.
From Feb. 13 to March 23, tickets for regular 2D screenings have been reduced to $7 at most DFW Alamo locations, including the one in Lake Highlands. The deal does not include 3D and 35mm screenings. Information on movies and upcoming showtimes can be found on Alamo’s website.
Aside from Padington in Peru, movies neighbors can enjoy during the deal’s run include Captain America: Brave New World, A24’s Steven King-based horror flick The Monkey and Snow White.
Earlier this year, it seemed as though the Lake Highlands location, along with all other DFW theaters, would close following a bankruptcy declaration by the region’s franchise owner. Fortunately for moviegoing neighbors, the Lake Highlands location reopened alongside all other DFW Alamos in July following the chain’s acquisition by Sony.
