The Lake Highlands Public Improvement District is hosting its annual Holiday on Forest event this weekend.

Going into its third year, the annual holiday celebration will take place at the Forest-Audelia shopping center from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. this Saturday with snacks and appearances by Santa Claus. Officials from the City of Dallas and DPD will be present to answer questions from residents.

Along with “Santa” appearances, the event will feature a reindeer and Frosty the Snowman. There will also be a bounce house, face painting, music and gift giveaways. Balloon and caricature artists will also be on-site. Dallas Police officers will be handing out free children’s winter coats, and there will be a “special gift” for children (both available while supplies last.

Light snacks and drinks will be provided free of charge.
