Dallas Police are investigating a multi-vehicle crash after two people were killed late Monday afternoon.
According to a statement from Dallas Fire-Rescue, units responded to a multi-vehicle collision in the 8500 block of Abrams Road at approximately 3:15 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 9. DFR officials say that on-site personnel found that one of the involved vehicles had struck a tree, killing both passengers inside. One passenger from another vehicle involved in the incident was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries.
According to a statement from DPD, officers responded to a call for service in the 8500 block of Abrams Road at approximately 3:10 p.m. The investigation is still ongoing and more information is forthcoming. The incident is being investigated under the case number 184072-2024.
DPD blocked off traffic on Abrams Road from Loma Vista Drive to Whitehurst Drive following the incident, which took place close to an active school zone designated for Forest Meadow Middle School.
