Local vendors, dogs for adoption, Santa Claus, live music and even a tattoo artist will make their way to Vector Brewing this Saturday for the Fifth Annual Artisan Holiday Market.
Held as part of Small Business Saturday, the market will feature over 30 DFW vendors selling everything from baked goods to 3D printed art. Vendor stands will be set up in the back parking lot. A full list of vendors can be found on Vector’s website. The event is free to attend and runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
A Santa Claus will be onsite for photos from 2:30-4:30 p.m and the Mark McKenzie Jazz Trio will provide live music indoors. Dallas Dog RRR, an East Dallas-based street rescue, will have dogs available for adoption at the market from 12-3 p.m. Local tattoo artist Joe Campos will be in the taproom with an assortment of holiday flash (pre-drawn tattoo designs) during market hours.             Â
Small Business Saturday, held annually the weekend after Thanksgiving, was founded by American Express in 2010 as a way to spur support for local retail businesses in the wake of the Great Recession. The initiative received support from the Small Business Administration in 2011, and has been observed at Vector Brewing since its opening in 2020 with the annual holiday market.
The taproom will close at 5 p.m. for an event, but the patio will remain open for dinner. The brewery will close on Thanksgiving Day.
