The Dallas Children’s Theater is bringing back its annual holiday show, A Charlie Brown Christmas, beginning this week.
Slated to premiere this Saturday, Nov. 23, the show will see the Baker Theater transform into a skating rink for a recreation of Charles Shulz’s beloved holiday classic, adapted for the stage by Eric Schaeffer.
The show, which will run until Dec. 22, is accompanied by a live jazz trio.
Children — specifically aged five and up — are the target audience of the show, not the on-stage product, as some confused neighbors might assume. The cast of professional, adult actors is headlined by Michael Alonzo as Snoopy, Emily French as Lucy, Ethan Rodriguez-Mullins as Linus and Sydney Hamil as Charlie Brown.
Tickets can be purchased here.
