The City of Dallas’s Office of Community Care is hosting a free probate and estate planning presentation this Wednesday at the Lake Highlands North Recreation Center.
Led by attorneys Maryann D’Aniello and D. George Brode of Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas, the presentation will run from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at the recreation center. The presentation is designed for City of Dallas residents aged 60 and above. Topics covered will include transfer on death deeds, lady bird deeds, advance directives/living wills, powers of attorney and designation of beneficiaries.
Legal Aid of NorthWest Texas is a nonprofit organization that provides legal services to those who are unable to access legal services in 114 counties in North and West Texas. The organization has branch offices in Dallas, Fort Worth, Midland, Lubbock, Amarillo and Abilene.
