With the November general election coming up, time is running out to register to vote in Texas.
The Nov. 5 election, which will feature candidates and issues from the local, state and national levels, is shaping up to be one of the most contentious in recent memory. Both congressional seats representing Lake Highlands are up for election this November, and the ballot will also feature a slew of Dallas City Charter amendments.
The deadline for voter registration is next Monday, Oct. 7. To register, visit the votetexas.gov website. Registration can be completed online (neighbors will need to print out the completed form and mail it to the registrar’s office) or in-person at the local registrar’s office.Â
The Dallas County election administrator’s office is located at 1520 Round Table Dr.
