The Lake Highlands Public Improvement District is hosting a Sundays in the Park event this Sunday, Sept. 22.
Running from 5-7 p.m. the event will take place at Forest Lane Academy and will feature live music from DJ SayDallas. There will be free Kona Ice, in addition to popcorn, drinks and snacks. Neighbors can also bring their own coolers.
In addition to live music, a bounce house, a caricature artist, face painting and a balloon artist have been advertised.
Forest Lane Academy is located at 9663 Forest Lane.
The next Sundays in the Park Event is scheduled for Oct. 6 at Watercrest Park in the Lake Highlands Town Center, according to the LHPID website.
