Dallas Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run driver after a skateboarder was left seriously injured in Lake Highlands earlier this month.

Around 2:20 a.m. on Aug. 11, police found a young male had been seriously injured after being hit by a motor vehicle in the 10200 block of Audelia Road, according to DPD. The suspect did not stop to render aid. 

Driving a black Dodge Ram 1500, the driver continued driving north on Audelia Road before getting on Royal Lane and traveling east towards I-635, police say. The suspect pulled into a gas station before being last seen traveling westbound on Royal Lane towards Audelia Road.

Police say the truck’s front right fender and grill are damaged, and that it is likely missing the front right light and assembly.
