From Saturday, Aug. 31, to Monday, Sept. 2, admission to the Children’s Adventure Garden will be included in general garden admission, as part of a donation from the William G. Kelley factory.

On Sunday, Sept. 1, families will be able to interact with an ornithologist — or bird expert — and the birds themselves at the Martin Rutchik concert stage from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Neighbors can see the birds up close and witness flight shows while learning about flight mechanics. There will also be a petting zoo each day from 9 to 11 a.m.

There will be live music daily, including performances by the ‘60s Pop Band on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. and classic rock band Ashmore from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday.

Ticketing information can be found on the Arboretum’s website.
