The Lake Highlands Wildcat Club will host its sixth annual Wildcat Sports Kickoff next Wednesday, August 22.
Running from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Multipurpose Activities Center, or MAC, the event will celebrate the start of the Wildcat Athletics year. The LHHS Band, Bell Boys, Cheerleaders and Highlandettes will be present, along with members of LHHS sports teams.
Neighbors are encouraged to wear their game day red, white and black. Parking can be found in the senior lot.
The varsity football team will take the field for the first time next Thursday, August 23, for a scrimmage against Coppell in Wildcat-Ram Stadium. The Wildcats, coming off a bi-district championship in 2023, are picked to finish second in District 7-6A this year by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football.
