The City of Dallas is offering past-due Water Utilities customers payment plans as it begins to apply late fees and service interruptions months after shifting to an online payment platform.
Dallas Water Utilities launched an online payment platform, DallasGo, in March of 2024. According to the city, since then, late fees and service interruptions have not been applied as residents transitioned using the service. Over one-quarter of all DWU customers currently have past-due balances, according to the city.Â
The City is offering payment plans of up to six months for up to six months for customers with overdue balances past 60 days. To learn more, customers are encouraged to email dwupaymentplan@dallas.gov. Customers can make payments through DallasGo, by mail or over the phone. Payments can also be made in-person at City Hall or at an authorized pay station.
