After Dallas Police arrested 21-year-old Amori Jones for the July 23 murder of 28-year-old Ariel Wesley, the incident has been classified as connected to a domestic dispute, according to the incident report.
According to the DPD incident report, Jones and Wesley were cohabitants of an apartment residence in the 11700 block of Audelia Road. The report classified the homicide as connected to domestic violence.Â
According to DPD, police responded to a shooting call in the 11700 block of Audelia Road at approximately 9:45 a.m. on July 23. Upon officers’ arrival, 28-year-old Ariel Wesley was found shot in an apartment, police say. Wesley died at the scene.Â
After further investigation, Jones was charged with murder, and she is currently being held at the North Tower Detention Facility on a $1 million bond.
