The Lake Highlands Wildcat Club will host the school’s traditional Red and White Game at Wildcat Stadium Friday night, offering the community a preview of fall football action. The intrasquad scrimmage will give head coach Cory Campbell and his assistants a chance to evaluate players and assess strengths and weaknesses of the team.
The highlight of the event will be the passing of the torch from graduating seniors to new leaders on and off the field. Seniors will be wearing t-shirts to indicate the college (or military branch) where they’ll be headed next. Before halftime, senior Bell Boys, Highlandettes, cheerleaders, marching band members and mascots will participate. After halftime, rising seniors will take the reins.
Pregame festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. and kickoff is at 6. Game tickets may be purchased online here or in the LHHS foyer May 16 and 17 between 11 and 1 or at the gate on game day. Note, RISD will not accept digital receipts, so fans who buy online will need to exchange their receipt for a physical ticket at the gate or in the LHHS foyer.
